Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and create functional specifications.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, and conduct testing activities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts (SMEs), and process councils to analyze business needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, document requirements, and prepare functional and configuration documentation.
  • Work closely with SAP technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Engage in meetings and discussions with key stakeholders from the business side.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in SAP FI & CO modules with involvement in 1-3 full-cycle SAP implementations.
  • Proficient in configuring SAP non-standard developments and enhancements.
  • Participate in the entire lifecycle of SAP functional application projects, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
  • Expertise in understanding business requirements, preparing AS-IS & TO-BE documents, and obtaining sign-off for Business Blueprint documents.
  • Configure organization structures in FI & CO modules, including Company, CO Code, Fiscal Year, Posting Period, Chart of Accounts, and Chart of Depreciation.
  • Set up GL Groups, Vendor Groups, Customer Groups, and Terms of Payments.
  • Define Cost Centre Hierarchy, Cost Centre Groups, Profit Centre Groups, and Version.
  • Configure number ranges for Document Types, GL Master, and Controlling Document Postings.
  • Proficient in New GL functionality, Parallel Accounting, and Document Splitting.
  • Configure Asset Accounting, House Bank, Bank Master, and Automatic Payment Program.
  • Prepare master data templates for objects such as GL master, Asset Master, Cost Centers, and Profit Centers.
  • Experience in Product Costing (PC) and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
  • Familiarity with Fiori Apps and integration with other SAP modules such as CO, PP, SD, MM, HR.
  • Develop cut over strategies for FI objects.
  • Knowledge of Tax procedure changes and system updates under GST regime.
  • Integration knowledge with SD, CO, and MM modules.

This role requires strong technical skills in SAP FICO modules along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
